A legend says that humanity was once united. A place with no conflicts, no border and no distinctions... Perhaps that is what some would call a "paradise". However, humans made one crucial error that would eventually lead to their downfall.
They decided to improve the paradise.
A seemingly innocent and even noble idea sparked a great deal of quarrels, something that hadn't occured before. All due to the fact that while everyone seemed to agree with the goal, they each had different means to achieve it in their minds. Soon, what used to be innocent altercations turned to full-on conflict where people were throwing their lives away for the sake of their visions. And so, despite their best efforts, that paradise started turning into hell.
Eventually people realised they can't carry on like this and small groups of like-minded individuals started to slowly form. As their ideals were not that far from each other, they were able to compromise and find a new home in their respective enclaves. Those emerging factions led to the beggining of a new world that we now live in. Humanity continues to be divided and battles are still fought between those who have conflicting views on what's best for the future.
Some say that conflict is in our veins. That it is our punishment for trying to improve what was already perfect. Whether that is true or not, this fracture is certainly not going to end anytime soon.
